How to Add Our Google Ads Manager Account to Your Existing Google Ads Account
This guide explains how to give us secure access to your existing Google Ads account using a Google Ads Manager Account, also known as an MCC. This is the correct way for an agency or marketing partner to manage your Google Ads account without needing your Google password.
Important: You do not need to share your Google login details with us. We will send a manager account link request, and you simply approve it inside your own Google Ads account.
What Is a Google Ads Manager Account?
A Google Ads Manager Account, often called an MCC, allows an agency to securely manage a client’s Google Ads account from a central dashboard. Your Google Ads account remains yours, your billing remains yours, and you can remove manager access later if required.
No Password Sharing
You keep control of your own Google account. We do not need your Google password.
Secure Account Management
We can help manage campaigns, budgets, tracking, keywords, ads, conversions, and reporting from our manager account.
You Stay in Control
Your account stays separate, your data remains in your account, and access can be removed in future if needed.
Before You Start
You must be logged in with an email address that has Admin access to your Google Ads account. If you only have Standard, Read-only, Billing, or Email-only access, you may not be able to approve the request.
If you are not sure whether you have Admin access, log in to Google Ads and go to Admin > Access and security. Your access level should be shown next to your user email.
Step 1: Find Your Google Ads Account Number / Customer ID
Before we can send the manager account link request, we need your Google Ads account number, which Google calls your Customer ID. This is the 10-digit number shown inside your Google Ads account, usually near the top-right of the screen.
Log in to Google Ads
Go to ads.google.com and sign in using the Google account that has access to your Google Ads account.
Find Your Account Number / Customer ID
Look near the top-right area of the Google Ads screen for a 10-digit number with hyphens. Google calls this your Customer ID, but you may also think of it as your Google Ads account number.

Send the Customer ID to Us
Send us your Customer ID so we can request access from our Google Ads Manager Account.
Please send your Customer ID, not your password. We only need the account number so we can send the official Google Ads manager link request.
Step 2: We Send the Manager Account Link Request
Once we have your Google Ads Customer ID, we will send a link request from our Google Ads Manager Account.
You may receive an email from Google about the request, but you can also approve it directly inside your Google Ads account using the steps below.
Step 3: Accept the Google Ads Manager Link Request
Once we have sent the request, you can approve it inside your own Google Ads account.
Log in to Your Google Ads Account
Go to ads.google.com and make sure you are inside the correct Google Ads account.
Tip:If you manage more than one Google Ads account, check the account name and Customer ID before continuing.
Open the Admin Menu
In the left-hand navigation, look for the Admin icon or Admin section. Click Admin.

Go to Access and Security
Under the Admin menu, click Access and security.

Click the Managers Tab
At the top of the Access and security page, select the Managers tab.
Find and Accept the Link Request
Look for a pending link request from our Google Ads Manager Account. Check that the manager account number matches 911-612-1574, then click Accept.

Let Us Know It Has Been Accepted
Once accepted, please let us know. We should then be able to access the account from our Google Ads Manager Account and begin checking or managing the campaigns.
What If There Is No Link Request Showing?
If no request is showing, do not worry. This usually means we have not sent the Google Ads Manager Account link request yet, the request was sent to a different account, or we may not have your correct Google Ads Customer ID.
For this MCC access method, you do not usually add our MCC number directly from your own Google Ads account first. We need to send the manager account link request from our Google Ads Manager Account. Once we have sent it, you can approve it inside your Google Ads account.
Check You Are in the Correct Google Ads Account
If you have access to more than one Google Ads account, check the account name and Customer ID at the top of the screen. Make sure you are inside the account you want us to manage.
Check the Managers Tab
Go to Admin > Access and security > Managers. If there is no pending request showing, we need to send or resend the MCC request.

Send Us the Correct Customer ID
Send us the Google Ads Customer ID from the exact account you want us to access.
Wait for Us to Send the Request
Once we send the request, we will let you know. You can then go back to Admin > Access and security > Managers and click Accept.
Quick Checklist
Before contacting us, please check:
- You are logged in to the correct Google Ads account.
- You have Admin access to the Google Ads account.
- You have sent us your Google Ads Customer ID.
- We have confirmed that the manager link request has been sent.
- You have gone to Admin > Access and security > Managers.
- You can see a pending request from MCC 911-612-1574.
- You have clicked Accept in the Actions column.
Having Trouble?
If you cannot see the request, it is usually one of these issues:
- No request has been made yet. If there is nothing showing under Admin > Access and security > Managers, send us your Google Ads Customer ID first. We need to send the MCC link request before you can accept it.
- You are in the wrong Google Ads account. Check the account name and Customer ID.
- The request was sent to a different Google Ads account. Send us the Customer ID from the exact account you want us to access.
- You do not have Admin access. Ask the account owner or an existing admin to accept the request.
- You are looking in Users instead of Managers. The request should appear under the Managers tab, not just the Users tab.
- The request has expired or was declined. Ask us to resend the manager account link request.
- Your account is already managed by another MCC. This may still be fine, but the existing manager relationship may need checking.

Google Ads MCC Access FAQs
What is an MCC?
MCC stands for My Client Centre, which is the older name for what Google now usually calls a Google Ads Manager Account. It lets an agency manage multiple Google Ads accounts securely from one place.
Can I add your MCC number myself?
For this access method, we need to send the manager account link request from our Google Ads Manager Account first. To do that, we need your Google Ads Customer ID. Once we send the request, you can approve it inside your account under Admin > Access and security > Managers.
What if no request is showing?
If no request is showing, send us your Google Ads Customer ID and ask us to send or resend the MCC link request. Then check Admin > Access and security > Managers again.
Will you own my Google Ads account?
No. Your Google Ads account remains yours. Linking our manager account does not transfer ownership of your account to us.
Will my billing details change?
No. Your billing, payment method, invoices, and spend remain inside your own Google Ads account unless you separately agree to change billing arrangements.
Do I need to add your email address as a user?
Usually, no. For agency management, the best method is to approve our Google Ads Manager Account link request under the Managers tab.
Where do I accept the request?
Log in to Google Ads, then go to Admin > Access and security > Managers. Under Link request, click Accept next to our manager account request.
What if I cannot see the Managers tab?
Make sure you are logged in to the correct Google Ads account and that your user has Admin access. If you still cannot see it, ask the account owner or current admin to check.
Can I remove access later?
Yes. You can remove manager account access later from Admin > Access and security > Managers by selecting the relevant manager account and removing access.
Need Help Giving Us Access?
If you are unsure where to click, send us your Google Ads Customer ID and a screenshot of the page you are looking at. Please do not send passwords, private billing information, or payment card details.
