R&R Plumbing & Heating approached us to create a modern, professional, and trustworthy online presence that reflects their local expertise and reliable reputation in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, and Bedfordshire. As a family-run plumbing and heating business with over 10 years of hands-on experience, the goal was to design a website that communicates trust, transparency, and craftsmanship, while making it effortless for users to get a quote, book a service, or call instantly. Our mission: to build a high-converting local trades website that positions R&R Plumbing not just as another plumber in Hitchin — but as the go-to trusted local expert for plumbing and heating services.
The plumbing industry is highly competitive, especially at the local level. Most websites either look outdated or fail to inspire confidence. R&R Plumbing needed a design that immediately conveyed professional reliability, backed by real customer reviews, clear service structure, and strong local SEO signals. The challenge was to combine visual credibility with practical conversion pathways — ensuring visitors could get in touch through one click via phone, WhatsApp, or quote form, while reinforcing the company’s authority through Checkatrade ratings, Google reviews, and Gas Safe credentials.
We focused on creating a clean, high-trust website that blends local authenticity with professional polish. Hero Section: A bold introduction — “Plumbing & Heating Specialists in Hitchin” — paired with instant CTAs for Call Us Now, WhatsApp Us, and Request a Free Quote. Service Architecture: Structured six core services (Bathroom Installations, Boiler Services, Central Heating, General Plumbing, Repairs, and Gas Safety) with individual pages for SEO and clarity. Local SEO Framework: Developed a content structure focused around “Plumber in Hitchin”, targeting surrounding towns and villages within Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire for maximum ranking reach. Trust Elements: Highlighted 9.9/10 Checkatrade rating, 5-star Google reviews, and Gas Safe registration for immediate credibility. Conversion Optimisation: Integrated a 3-step dynamic quote form and multiple contact triggers (header, sticky call button, and footer) to maximise inbound leads.
